About Animal Chiropractic
Animal Chiropractic is a division of animal healthcare utilizing an all natural approach. Our main goal is providing measurable outcomes improving your animals quality of life. When spinal or extremity segments present with loss of motion, the animal can become compromised on various levels. For example: joint fixation can lead to neurological symptoms, muscle spasms, swelling, and pain. As Chiropractic physicians, we are highly trained to locate these fixations and then treat them safely, by hand, with a light adjustment. Once your animal is out of an active condition, we always recommend wellness maintenance care to prevent future injuries and to help keep your animal thriving.
Our Story
I’m proud to run a truly family-owned and operated practice. My human chiropractic clinic opened in 2014, and over the years, I’ve treated a wide range of spinal conditions—helping thousands of people find relief from pain and transition into wellness maintenance care.
In 2022, my 4-year-old German Shepherd, Atlas, was injured while staying at a local kennel. He lost sensation and muscle strength in his hind legs and was unable to walk. Two local doctors advised me to prepare for euthanasia. It was an incredibly difficult time, and my world was turned upside down.
Determined to find another solution, I began to consider the mechanism of Atlas's injury and wondered if chiropractic care could help. After a few treatments from an animal chiropractor, Atlas made an incredible recovery—going from immobile to completely symptom-free.
Inspired by his healing journey, I enrolled in Options for Animals, the leading Animal Chiropractic School located in Wellsville, Kansas. I completed 210 postgraduate credit hours and passed a board exam to become certified. Today, I’m honored to be certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and to offer the same level of care that gave Atlas his life back.
